- To update this story, there are two confirmed hostages on the 3200 block of Rickman Ave in Northeast Grand Rapids. Officiers are in negotiation, however he is threatening to shoot a hostage if his demands are not met.

- If you have family in the military, or you're in the military, this movie might be good. It's a soldiers story, that's it. The beginning of the movie takes forever to develop into anything good. Once contact is made with the aliens the movie takes forever to get to the interesting part.

- One of the concern should be, where is that cloud of radiation headed? My guess would be somewhere along the Canadian or US west coast. If so, how will that impact agriculture? How much of that radiation will end up in the ocean or on land through percipitation?

- If we were speaking about the UK version of show, as applied to US laws, there would be a great argument for the show violating child pornography laws in the US. We aren't. The US version of the show is tame. The one use of swearing in the show is censored. There is absolutely no nudity.

- As someone who has actually watched the show, it's not exploitative. The UK version of the show is actually a griping, sometimes dark, sometimes sweet look into the lives of teenagers. However, it is considerably more disturbing and pornographic than US television.

- Skins (US) is so not pornographic, at least not with the first episode. I would encourage anyone to watch the same episode from the UK.
